GuestGesture is a luxury gift and gesture service for both sides of the door — the guest arriving with something, and the host welcoming whoever's coming. We read the listing the way a returning guest would, propose a gesture from a curated catalog of luxury brands — Aesop, Byredo, Le Labo, Diptyque — and a real hand places it before the guest arrives. Not a gift basket service. No cellophane.

How much does a GuestGesture arrival gift cost?

Build a curated box — Threshold at $80 (a card and something edible), Considered at $140 (the parcel, the scent, the card), or Appointed at $220 (book, playlist, drawn map, the walk) — or shop luxury houses à la carte: Le Creuset and Byredo direct from the house, others sourced, shipped or placed by hand. Bespoke with no ceiling for milestones and special occasions.

How much lead time does GuestGesture need?

72 hours standard. 48 hours workable. 24 hours on the East Coast only with a small fee. Under 24 hours we politely decline.

Where does GuestGesture place arrival gifts?

Domestic United States, with reliable placement in Hudson Valley NY, Charleston SC, Kennebunkport ME, Aspen CO, the Hamptons NY, Big Sur CA, and Lake Tahoe CA/NV. Lower 48 via courier from the closest depot. International by request — including Todos Santos, Lisbon, and London.

What makes GuestGesture different from a gift basket service?

GuestGesture is not a gift basket service. No cellophane, no branded bow, no fruit. We read the specific listing and propose a gesture calibrated to that property and that guest type. About Davines

Founded in Parma, Italy in 1983 by the Bollati family. Originally a private-label manufacturer for major cosmetics companies, Davines launched its own brand in 1994 based on a simple principle: professional salon results shouldn't require petroleum derivatives. B Corp certified since 2016 with a score of 123.5 (industry median: 50.9). Operates in 90 countries with ~900 employees. Roucou oil (from the Amazon annatto seed) is their signature ingredient — orange-pigmented, UV-protective, and entirely renewable.

Packaging: Matte white with minimalist sans-serif type and a thin color stripe per line (OI = terracotta orange, LOVE = pink). The bottles are refillable at salon stations. Clean and European in a way that reads immediately.
