The Stockroom

One room, four ways things arrive
A plate of the room itself, drawn at 07:04 on a Tuesday — the lamp on, the kettle cooling, one parcel on the worktop, the florals just walked in. Most of what you see leaves again within the week. Some of it never sits here at all — it ships straight from the brand.
Plate footer
- A — Apothecary row. Aesop, Sisley Paris, Augustinus Bader, Tom Ford Beauty — amber and ceramic, labeled by drawer.
- B — Direct from the brand. Things that skip our shelves entirely and ship from the brand’s warehouse to the door.
- C — The worktop. Where one parcel at a time gets weighed, tied, wax-sealed, addressed.
- D — The cold corner. Florals, produce, perishables — arrive the morning of, leave before dark.
The principle
We buy in quantity so a single host can place what a hotel would. One pooled order — 44 brands, ~80 hosts, sometimes a single PO — replaces ten thousand small ones. The brands can plan a season. The hosts get to put down what they could never justify alone. Nothing sits here long.
