GuestGesture is a luxury gift and gesture service for both sides of the door — the guest arriving with something, and the host welcoming whoever's coming. We read the listing the way a returning guest would, propose a gesture from a curated catalog of luxury brands — Aesop, Byredo, Le Labo, Diptyque — and a real hand places it before the guest arrives. Not a gift basket service. No cellophane.

How much does a GuestGesture arrival gift cost?

Build a curated box — Threshold at $80 (a card and something edible), Considered at $140 (the parcel, the scent, the card), or Appointed at $220 (book, playlist, drawn map, the walk) — or shop luxury houses à la carte: Le Creuset and Byredo direct from the house, others sourced, shipped or placed by hand. Bespoke with no ceiling for milestones and special occasions.

How much lead time does GuestGesture need?

72 hours standard. 48 hours workable. 24 hours on the East Coast only with a small fee. Under 24 hours we politely decline.

Where does GuestGesture place arrival gifts?

Domestic United States, with reliable placement in Hudson Valley NY, Charleston SC, Kennebunkport ME, Aspen CO, the Hamptons NY, Big Sur CA, and Lake Tahoe CA/NV. Lower 48 via courier from the closest depot. International by request — including Todos Santos, Lisbon, and London.

What makes GuestGesture different from a gift basket service?

GuestGesture is not a gift basket service. No cellophane, no branded bow, no fruit. We read the specific listing and propose a gesture calibrated to that property and that guest type. About Moleskine

The Moleskine notebook was used by Hemingway, Chatwin, Picasso — or so the brand legend says. Moleskine S.p.A. was founded in Milan in 1997 as a revival of the small black notebooks that the French stationery house Cassegrain had supplied to Paris artists and writers since the 1800s. The brand was acquired by D'Ieteren Group in 2021. Today they offer 138+ limited editions, monogramming via foil stamp, and corporate custom editions. The Featherweight paper (80g/m²) is their proprietary ultra-thin page technology.

Packaging: Matte black cover with elastic closure band and ribbon bookmark — the product signals 'I take writing seriously' before it's opened. The limited editions come in thematic boxes. Monogramming adds a foil-stamped cover medallion.

We include a handwritten card on Pineider stock. The placement fee is absorbed in the tier price: Threshold $80, Considered $140, Appointed $220.
